The Honorable Sleaze’s Rich City Beat Tape is the sound of Richmond right in the middle of_ Richmond. Sleaze exercises the city’s dance as it curls around a figurative history for the shaking. Everybody get on the GRTC this instant.

The Honorable Sleaze and James Dangle alternated tracks from their latest albums, One Time I Knew (James Dangle) and Heavenly/Devilish (Sleaze). They brought a different energy to the Epic Fest stage.
When you have Sleaze, James Dangle, Nyce, Ankh Trinity, Ohbliv, and Damaged Andy onstage, be prepared for an extraordinary performance. Sleaze dropped the single from his album Heavenly/Devilish entitled “The Passion of The Sleaze,” and immediately had the crowd rocking. Due to the video he'd dropped only hours before, I could see why.
In this weeks episode, The Honorable Sleaze (emcee, producer & video game aficionado) joined us to talkmusic, producing, J-P-S, the Richmond music scene & the rap game. Sleaze brought songs and represented for his crew Just Plain Sounds.
Today's Daily Fix is from local emcee/producer: Sleaze. Sleaze reps for Just Plain Sounds and is a regular guest on Hip Hop For The Rest Of Us on WRIR Sundays from 1-3am. "Sweet Sticky Thing" is 1:43 of instrumental funk that only exhibits one half of Sleaze's musical ability - backed up by flashing images reminiscent of a dream state (visuals provided by Shawn Kemp - Lil Ugly Mane of Chocolate Milk).
Sleaze has a deep voice, unhurried flow and down-to-earth persona that remind the listener of Chicago MC Rhymefest. Grown man rap. Pull your pants up.
The P Show #3 - The Honorable Sleaze
"Old Roses [EP]" featured on The Cheats Movement Blog.
Broad Street Boogie stays faithful to the underground aesthetic, mixing funk & soul samples with skilled production and hazy daze lyrics.
Sometimes videos are so beautiful, they have to be put in a place all by themselves. Marc Cheatham of The Cheats Movement blogsite, known for its outstanding photography, takes his first turn at directing a full length video. And, my oh my, this fabulous work will certainly catch your eyes, and stimulate your highs.
The Honorable Sleaze is a big dude. This emcee/producer is a life-sized RVA landmark that's been making music for years, and he's amassed an elaborate catalog that rivals his physical size.
Sleaze drops Summer Fresh, a raw, gritty, it-is-what-it-is project dripping in the fun that bred hip hop [at one point]. It has no concern with business, but only with the pleasures of the genre, and Sleaze deals with the descriptive natures the music tells us. Released through the net label Just Plain Sound, Sleaze delivers a rarity in hip hop, originality.
But then there's Sleaze's Ocarina of Rhyme with all original raps by himself.
The artists Zo!, Sleaze and Jackson try to balance their passion for music with the real world that refuses to let them live their dreams.
Creating costs! Help a dude out...
