So Black decided to stop playing and let me review a real hip-hop release. No shots. This time is Prodigy and Alchemist's new project Albert Einstein. I been waiting to chew into some new Alchemist production since his excellent work with Action Bronson on 2012's Rare Chandeliers. Unfortunately, Prodigy's flow hasn't been what it used to be back in Mobb Deep's glory days. Nevertheless, P and ALC usually connect lovely as evidenced by their many recordings in the past.
If I'm to judge a book by the cover, this is gonna be nuts! That artwork is hella creative. We'll see. As usual, listen in to Black Liquid's show Hip-Hop For The Rest Of Us on WRIR 97.3 FM, or stream the show from wrir.org and blackliq.com. Tune in Saturday night at 1 am to catch my views.
